A wedding film should immediately bring you back to each moment through an emphasis on the details and audio captured throughout your day. To me, this is not JUST about capturing moments like the first kiss or first dance. It’s your grandma last-second sewing your wedding dress.
It’s the words your husband says to you when he sees you for the first time on the wedding day. It’s the look on your dad’s face as he’s getting ready to walk you down the aisle, the way the sky looked as it was setting on your wedding night, and the way you and your guests danced the night away.

HI! I’M REBEKAH, BUT MY GRANDMA ALWAYS CALLED ME BEX.
As you know, I'm Bekah from Bex Mar Films, LLC! Before I decided to pursue my passion of filmmaking full-time, I was an 8th grade Spanish teacher for 7 years. I also have my Master's Degree in Curriculum Development & Instructional Technology. What does this have to do with filming weddings? Well, (as a teacher at heart), I love to plan and be prepared. I spend the time before your wedding learning about you and planning many different behind the scenes aspects of your day. I love how planning ahead helps me feel confident and prepared to be flexible with changes and new situations that arise throughout any live event.
My number one goal is to glorify God with how I treat my couples, my work ethic, and how I run my business. I am married to a college Baseball coach, and his job keeps us traveling. We have a golden retriever dog named Diggs (go BILLS), and he is my work from home shadow. My family are my best friends, and my sister is a huge part of Bex Mar Films. If I bring an assistant/second shooter to your wedding, it will most likely be her!

Years of experience filming weddings in different states, venues, and working with different photographers + vendor teams.
After I got married, I realized there were so many things I wish I had told my videographer to look out for. Because of this, I craftfully create questionnaires to help me learn not just about the two of you, but also about the moments and people on your wedding day that are most important for you to relive forever.
PREPERATION
With a background in teaching, I have learned that being prepared and planning ahead is one of the best ways to feel calm and comfortable in all situations. In wedding world, this means learning as much about you and your wedding day as possible before filming begins. It means that I go over your timeline and plan ahead for shots and locations to film. It means bringing extra of everything- just in case. It is going home from the wedding and safely storing your footage on 3 different hard drives and on the cloud before going to sleep. It is introducing myself to new vendors prior to the wedding if we haven’t worked together before.
FOOTAGE
I choose to film your wedding as if I am delivering every moment to you. This means that I don’t just take the beautiful clips throughout the day that I know I will want to include in your highlight film. I truly film each “big” moment from start to finish, and continually keep my cameras rolling to capture as much of your day as possible. For clients who purchase full day raw footage films, they are typically given hours of footage to watch through.
HIGH QUALITY AUDIO
Wedding videography becomes priceless the moment your wedding ends. Through tiny (but mighty) microphones and audio sources, I pride myself in including as much audio in your films as possible. You will want to look back and hear the voices and laughter of your loved ones for many years to come.
YOU WILL FEEL IMPORTANT
Because YOU ARE. I only take on a select number of weddings each year in order to ensure that each couple feels loved, heard, and special. Your wedding deserves to be a main event. I will put in the time it takes to make sure I understand your plans and vision for the day.

In order to run my business legally, I subscribe to a music licensing website. Most couples prefer that I choose the music for their film, but if you’d like to choose your own, you’re welcome to do that! I will send you my music licensing website, and walk you through how to listen/choose songs.

Yes! I love to include drone footage! Drone footage is free of charge and included in all packages (weather and timeline permitting)!

Of course! I film the entire wedding day as if I am delivering every moment to you. Couples who choose to add on the raw footage typically receive 2-3+ hours of footage (edited together in watchable documentary form).

Films will be delivered digitally for online access through a high quality personalized website. Films can be easily sent to family and friends, and downloaded in full quality for safe storage.

Possibly! Although this is nice, it is not necessary! I typically film weddings at 10+ new venues each year. I love to be prepared so I arrive early and collaborate with the photographer to ensure the best locations for filming.

There are too many to choose! I love personal vows shared in private or during the ceremony. I also love capturing the emotions of family members watching their loved ones begin a new family. And of course, the dance party/reception!
